The Process
The project began with a thorough analysis of the existing refrigerated display unit and its user feedback. I conducted user research to identify pain points and areas for improvement. Based on these insights, I developed several design concepts, focusing on modern aesthetics and improved functionality.
For the app, I designed an intuitive interface that allows users to browse and purchase groceries directly from their refrigerator, as well as generate recipes based on available ingredients. The app was designed to integrate smoothly with the redesigned display, offering a unified experience.
The development phase involved creating prototypes for both the display and the app, which were tested and refined based on user feedback. Collaborating with the Samsung and Ekoland teams, we ensured that both components met high standards of usability and performance. The final result is a refreshed, user-centric refrigerated display and an innovative app that together provide a seamless and engaging solution for modern consumers.
Visual Identity
For the Samsung and Ekoland collaboration, the visual identity was crafted to be modern and cohesive. The color palette featured sleek metallics, crisp whites, and vibrant greens, reflecting the high-tech and fresh aspects of the project. Clean, contemporary typography was used to enhance readability and user experience.
The refrigerated display unit adopted a minimalist design with streamlined controls, while the Ekoland app mirrored this with a simple, intuitive interface. The visuals showcase how these elements come together to create a unified and engaging experience.
